This number, seven, is not my lucky number, because basically I don’t believe in any number that can give fortune to any people. But recently I realize that this number has been attracting my interest since the last couple of years. I started giving special attention on this number when I read Harry Potter that was published in seven series. As a muggle, I didn’t understand that seven is a special number in magical world. But Lord Voldermort did. It could be seen when he divided his soul into seven parts and then embedded them into seven different things which had historical story with him. And I think it’s not a coincident too when Rowling made Weasley has seven children, right?

OK, now let’s move on from the absurd magical world to ours. Sorry to MU haters, but honestly one of the reasons I started to fall in love with football was because of this Britain club called Manchester United, especially with its player at that time who always used number seven, Beckham. But when he left MU, I didn’t feel so sad because his successor, CR7, has been my new idol since then. So, I beg to MU not to sell CR7 to Madrid, please! Unless of course MU has found new player that really deserve to wear this number seven.

Hum…ok now lets jump into my daily work activity at office. I realize that one of the reasons why I’ve been feeling so safe in running the project simulation since the last two months is because I’m surrounded by The Magnificent Seven. Yup, they’re like seven musketeers who are always ready to break any barriers that kept this project from success. They are this team’s true asset. They are master at their fields. And now, I proudly present to you and to the world, the profile of The Magnificent Seven in this lovely Travel Claim’s team:

1. Andrew – The UI master
I first met this sophisticated guy at Surabaya when we were having medical check-up for Mitrais. He’s a simple man, I mean simply “let’s get coding because I know what to be done” man. He’s not a con artist because he’s truly mad in coding thing, especially in JavaScript and CSS. Just give him a problem about those two things, and he’ll make his fingers dance on the keyboard soon after having a two second thinking about the way to solve it. Before working at Mitrais, he has had experience in running project at his previous job. So, he has given much contribution to this team about what we must do in running a good project.

2. Andy – The create TC master
Well, this remarkable boy actually has so much potential in his self. His logical skill works very well, just as good as he plays DotA. He always feels confident with the work that he has done. That’s why he usually doesn’t give a solution directly when I ask him about a problem related to Create TC module. However, as soon as he retraced his work, he can quickly find the bugs along with its solutions. Good job, Andy!

3. Bayu – The deploy master
This gentleman has just graduate from his study. But it doesn’t stop him showing his capabilities that are very useful to this project. He’s an easy going man, non impulsive, doing everything neatly, slow but sure. He’s a tough guy, and that’s one thing that I really appreciate from him. He’s our deploy master, although in the early of construction phase he has given much contribution in developing some parts of vital Data Access and Controller too.

4. Dedi – The preview master
Just like Bayu, this man has just graduate from his study. He can speak Hokyan, a Chinese language like Mandarin, but it is more “traditional” I think. He always uses formal neat shirt to go to office, but I’m afraid it’s because he doesn’t have any t-shirt at all, hehe… Sorry Ded, just kidding. Somehow, honestly, I’m amaze when he succeeded arranging the complicated column in preview page using Excel. And also, with Deny, he created a function to make a wrapped text column. Well done, Dedi!

5. Deny – The email master
He’s older than me. Is that all? Of course it’s not. He’s not only pretty good in logic, but also very tough in defending his ideas. It’s very hard to change his opinion as long as he feels that it is right. I still remember when he had different opinion about the placement of sending email function in utilities section with other members in team, including me, and even with other team members. The only thing that finally can ease his mind was because he didn’t want this project stuck in this little thing. Although basically I’m sure that he still felt that his opinion was right. However, that’s one thing I can learn from him. Whew… Hopefully he doesn’t read this writing, or his head will become bigger… Hehe… Peace, Den!

6. Elfira – The settle TC master
She’s truly a smart girl. I mean it. She knows what she’s done. Just give her a problem in TC settlement, and she’ll be able to detect the bugs after a couple seconds of thinking, even without looking on the codes. I never doubt giving her responsibilities in doing some coding thing, because she deserves to get them. Oh yeah, there’s one thing more that occur in my mind when talking about Elfira. Her obsession maybe… Google. Hehe… Good Luck, Ra! Cuil is not a threat, right?

7. Yuan – The approve TC master
She’s the other girl in this lovely team. She’s a real example that woman is not always has lower ability in logic than man. She’s not only a problem solver, but also a problem maker. Oops, I mean a problem founder. Yeah, I believe that woman can see what man can’t. Hehe… She’s handled TC approval module perfectly.

  1. 0.Frandi
    The master of the ‘Seven’

Frandi brought the team to the ‘most straightline TMS teams’. With his glossy hair, talkative (i mean not too much talking, but communicative) in every TC problem. He took us to the elegant ways, solving our problem silently like never getting problems. The Stored Procedure cant be done without his hand. The TC project couldn’t be done with his smile and jokes, hehehe.

  2. @bydt: ‘most straightline TMS teams’ apa sih artinya? :D

  3. @bydt: good job! agree!

You’ve done more than well, mas Frans! Thank you for being our chief!
